Financial Aid Portal
Welcome to the Mary Baldwin University Financial Aid Portal. Thank you for applying for financial assistance. We encourage you to visit your Financial Aid Portal often. It is the main source for all of your financial aid information at Mary Baldwin University. Please read each screen carefully so that you will completely understand your financial aid. From the Financial Aid Portal, you can:
- Check the status of your application
- View your financial aid awards
- Accept/Decline your financial aid awards
- View a list of documents we've received from you
- Click on the link provided for all documents still outstanding, complete the documents and send them to our office for review
- View your student loan history
- Check the status of your student loans for the current year
Log In Instructions
You must have a financial aid record already established at Mary Baldwin University in order to use this system. If you have not begun the financial aid application process, you can get started by completing online the FAFSA at https://fafsa.ed.gov/. Enter our school code, 003723, on your application and we will automatically receive a copy.
To access the online system, enter your Financial Aid Portal Web ID provided to you in a previous email or mailing. If this is the first time you are using the online system, select First Time User (below the Submit button) and follow the directions to create a PIN. Your PIN must be at least eight (9) characters long and must include Upper and Lower case letters, numbers, and special characters (!@#$%&*).
Once you have created your password and security questions, you’ll be able to log in using your Web ID that we have provided you and the PIN you created. You will need your MBU ID to access the system.
If you are having trouble logging in, 3 failed attempts will lock you out of the Portal. BEFORE you're 3rd attempt, click on 'Forgot PIN' and proceed to creating a new PIN. If you do get locked out of your account, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to have your account unlocked. Be sure to include your name and MBU ID in your email.
You will need to create a new PIN every 120 days – a reminder notification will appear 10 days before the expiration date.
